 Nissan Trading established an office in Detroit in 1978 to serve as an overseas operation, and in 1984, became an independent company, Nissan Trading Corp., U.S.A.  Headquartered outside of Nashville TN, the company operates branches in Canton MS as well that trade in automobiles, automotive components, materials and machinery.

In recent years, NITCO-USA, expanded its North American distribution activities with the establishment of a warehouse on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee.  In addition, the company has expanded distribution and engineering services through the establishment of a sale company, Creform Logistech Corporation.

NITCO-USA, is involved in a diverse range of activities in North America.  These include supporting the development of Japanese automotive component makers' North American production bases, and the joint management of these operations.  The company also exports and imports components from Japan, in addition to expanding its business with suppliers in Mexico NITCO supplies the Big Three U.S. automakers with components and materials.  NITCO-USA, will continue to initiate management activities geared toward enhancing its global operations.  The company will continue to meet a variety of needs in its markets, forming a solid base for increasing Nissan Trading's North American activities.
